The Beginning

All things are possible. The fact that I am here now typing this first blog entry is proof positive. What better a premise to begin the journey that is Dale Burnes Golinski? All ideas begin with inspiration, and this one is no exception. The idea? To ride a motor scooter from Amherst, New Hampshire to Atlanta, Georgia in July 2008. The inspiration? A wonderful woman, friend, and example of the strength and integrity of the human spirit. Dale Burnes Golinski lived life with passion and gratitude that continues to inspire. She was taken by an illness that has too many victims, which include those that have survived her; her husband, daughter, son, and all who loved her. So in the fight against this deadly disease, and to honor Dale's life as well as the lives of all who have fought this battle and continue to fight, we will journey as Trails for Dale, and raise money for breast cancer research. The recipient of the proceeds will be the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in New York.
